Walter Scott, 5th of Buccleuch, 1st Lord Scott of Buccleuch was a Scottish nobleman and famous border reiver, known as the "Bold Buccleuch" and leader of Kinmont Willie’s Raid. Scott was the son of Sir Walter Scott, 4th of Buccleuch and Margaret Douglas.

Saint Ninnoc or Ninnog of Breton, also known as Nenooc, Nennoca, Nennocha, Ninnoc, Ninnocha, and Gwen, was an early medieval abbess who was reputedly born in Wales and died in Brittany. The text of Vita Sanctae Ninnocae is preserved in the Cartulary of Quimperlé, and it provides knowledge of her life and works.

Zhang Xun was a general of the Chinese Tang Dynasty. He was known for defending Yongqiu and Suiyang during the An Shi Rebellion against the rebel armies of Yan, and thus, his supporters asserted, he blocked Yan forces from attacking and capturing the fertile Tang territory south of the Huai River. However, he was severely criticized by some contemporaries and some later historians as lacking humanity due to his encouragement of cannibalism during the Battle of Suiyang. Other historians praised him for his great faithfulness to Tang.

Maria João Brewster is a Brazilian former model. She made a career as a photographic model in the 1970s and is the only Brazilian to date to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue throughout its history, photographed in Bahia for the 1978 issue.

Einar Sigurdsson, also called Einarr rangmunnr Sigurðarson or Einar Wry-Mouth, was a son of Sigurd Hlodvirsson. He was jointly Earl of Orkney from 1014. His life is recorded in the Orkneyinga Saga.
