Friedrich Pollock was a German social scientist and philosopher. He was one of the founders of the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt am Main, and a member of the Frankfurt School of neo-Marxist theory.
Bekir Refet
Bekir Refet Teker was a Turkish footballer. He played as a striker for Fenerbahçe and the Turkey national football team. Like most little boys from Kadıköy his career started in the Fenerbahçe youth teams until he was promoted to the senior team. Bekir then played for Altinordu, Galatasaray and Karlsruhe in Germany. Bekir was a member of the Olympic squads of Turkey in 1924 and 1928.

Hermann Stieve
Hermann Philipp Rudolf Stieve was a German physician, anatomist and histologist. Following his medical studies, he served in the German Army during First World War and became interested in the effect of stress and other environmental factors on the female reproductive system, the subject of his later research. In 1921 he became the youngest doctor to chair the medical department of a German university. He taught medicine at the University of Berlin, and was Director of the Berlin Institute of Anatomy at the Charité teaching hospital in the later years of his life.
Gérard de Nerval
Gérard de Nerval was the nom de plume of the French writer, poet, and translator Gérard Labrunie, a major figure of French romanticism, best known for his novellas and poems, especially the collection Les Filles du feu, which included the novella Sylvie and the poem "El Desdichado". Through his translations, Nerval played a major role in introducing French readers to the works of German Romantic authors, including Klopstock, Schiller, Bürger and Goethe. His later work merged poetry and journalism in a fictional context and influenced Marcel Proust. His last novella, Aurélia, influenced André Breton and Surrealism.

Dennie Christian is a German singer of schlager music popular in Germany and the Netherlands; he sings in both languages. His breakthrough song was "Rosamunde" in 1974, and one of his biggest Dutch hits was "Wij zijn twee vrienden". In 2017, he participated in the Dutch TV show Beste Zangers.

Giuseppi Logan was a jazz musician, originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who taught himself to play piano and drums before switching to reeds at the age of 12. At the age of 15 he began playing with Earl Bostic and later studied at the New England Conservatory. In 1964 he relocated to New York and became active in the free jazz scene.
