Wolfgang Kohlhaase
Wolfgang Kohlhaase is a German film director and was one of GDR's most well-known and prolific film screenwriters. He was awarded the Honorary Golden Bear at the 2010 Berlin International Film Festival.
Serge Rousseau
Serge Rousseau was a French film and television actor and agent. He was a close friend of François Truffaut. He played the husband of murdered Jeanne Moreau in The Bride Wore Black and the unknown man who declares his love for Claude Jade at the end of Stolen Kisses. He married Marie Dubois in 1961 and they remained together until his death by cancer at the age of 77. They had a daughter, actress Dominique Rousseau.
Alberto Manguel
Alberto Manguel is an Argentine-Canadian anthologist, translator, essayist, novelist, editor, and a former Director of the National Library of Argentina. He is the author of numerous non-fiction books such as The Dictionary of Imaginary Places, A History of Reading (1996), The Library at Night (2007) and Homer's Iliad and Odyssey: A Biography (2008); and novels such as News From a Foreign Country Came (1991). Though almost all of Manguel's books were written in English, two of his novels were written in Spanish, and El regreso has not yet been published in English. Manguel has also written film criticism such as Bride of Frankenstein (1997) and collections of essays such as Into the Looking Glass Wood (1998). In 2007, Manguel was selected to be that year's annual lecturer for the prestigious Massey Lectures.
Tochinoumi Teruyoshi
Tochinoumi Teruyoshi was a Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Aomori. He was the sport's 49th yokozuna, earning promotion in 1964. He was somewhat overshadowed by his yokozuna contemporaries Taihō and Kashiwado, but he was a noted technician and earlier in his career won six special prizes for Technique. He was one of the lightest yokozuna ever at just 110 kg. After his retirement from active competition in 1966 he was a coach at Kasugano stable, and was head coach from 1990 until his retirement in 2003.
