He was a pioneer in the field of voice-overs in Brazil and was responsible for the dubbing of many Hollywood blockbusters into Portuguese, particularly action films such as the Rambo, Rocky, and Lethal Weapon series of films, popular US TV series such as Charlie's Angels, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, CSI: Miami, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Friends and many cartoon series including Popeye and Scooby-Doo. He also produced over 55 Brazilian films between 1956 and 1975 and was also active with telenovelas.

Beppo Brem was a German film actor, who was in over 200 film and television productions between 1932 and 1990. He often played stereotypically Bavarian characters, but managed to find respect as a character actor in later years.

Elisabeth's early death was rumored to be a result of poison meant for her uncle, Tsar Nicholas II, but the court physician said she died of virulent typhoid, probably caused by her taking a drink of water from a contaminated stream.

Beatriz Ferrer-Salat Serra de Migui is an equestrian from Spain who competes internationally in the sport of dressage. She won two Olympic medals, a silver and a bronze, at the 2004 Games, and also competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics and the 2000 Summer Olympics. She began riding in international competitions in 1995, and has since competed in the 2002 World Equestrian Games, winning individual silver and team bronze, and in several European Dressage Championships, where she has won several additional individual and team medals. Based in Spain, Ferrer-Salat continues to compete internationally, as well as acting as the chair of the board for the Spanish Dressage Riders Club.

Günter Rittner was a German painter and illustrator. He ranks among the best known German portrayers of the 20th Century. Rittner's portraits of Ludwig Erhard as well as of Kurt Georg Kiesinger are the foundation of the Gallery of Chancellors, established in 1976 by former Chancellor Helmut Schmidt in the Bundeskanzleramt in Berlin.
