Mark Stewart Appel is an American former professional baseball pitcher, who played for the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies organizations.

Crowd Lu is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter and actor. He is also referred to as Vitas Lu after making a parody of the song Opera No. 2 by the Russian singer Vitas, having the ability to hit the same high notes. Due to a serious car accident in his first year at Tamkang University, Lu learned to play guitar during his hospitalization. The following year, Lu won first prize for musical composition and solo performance and proceeded to once again take the gold in composition and become the crowd favorite at National Chengchi University.

Jill Halfpenny is an English actress. Her notable roles include Rebecca Hopkins in ITV soap opera Coronation Street (1999–2000); Kate Mitchell in BBC One soap opera EastEnders (2002–2005); Izzie Redpath in Waterloo Road (2006–2007); and Diane Manning in In The Club (2014–2016). Achim Mentzel was a German musician, television presenter and actor. He was best known for hosting his show Achims Hitparade from 1989 to 2006 and for his work with Oliver Kalkofe. He released 23 singles and seven albums between 1978 and 2010. He was a member of the cover band, Fritzens Dampferband, together with Nina Hagen. He appeared in the films The Legend of Paul and Paula (1973) and Der Wixxer (2004), and the television shows Das Amt and Leipzig Homicide.

Dame Susan Jocelyn Bell Burnell is an astrophysicist from Northern Ireland who, as a postgraduate student, discovered the first radio pulsars in 1967. She was credited with "one of the most significant scientific achievements of the 20th century". The discovery was recognised by the award of the 1974 Nobel Prize in Physics but, despite being the first person to discover the pulsars, she was not one of the recipients of the prize.

His most notable works include internationally successful music videos for artists such as Childish Gambino, Earl Sweatshirt, Chet Faker, Flying Lotus, David Guetta, St. Vincent, The Shins, The Fray, Bloc Party and Queens of the Stone Age.

Hartwig Löger is an Austrian politician and former business executive. From 2011 to 2017 he was chief executive officer of UNIQA Austria and since 2017 he served as Minister of Finance. On 22 May 2019, following the Ibiza affair, he was named vice chancellor, and on 28 May 2019, he was sworn in as acting chancellor after Austria's first ever successful vote of no confidence against a cabinet, leaving this post on 3 June 2019.
