A Review of General Psychology survey, published in 2002, ranked him as the 88th most cited psychologist of the 20th century, tied with John Garcia, David Rumelhart, Louis Leon Thurstone, Margaret Floy Washburn, and Robert S. Woodworth.

Vicente Bianchi Alarcón was a Chilean composer, pianist, conductor, and orchestra and choir director. He received the Premio Nacional de Artes Musicales de Chile in 2016. He is remembered for composing music to accompany the poems of Pablo Neruda, and for his liturgical music, including the Chilean Mass and the Te Deum (1970–2000).
