His short story, "Drill Hole in the Brain" was translated into English as part of Del Rey's Faust anthology, and described by the Anime News Network as the "crowning glory" of the anthology.

Gisele Khoury is a Lebanese-French journalist and talk show host on BBC Arabic. Her show is called Al Mashhad where she interviews prominent figures and high-profile guests from the Arab World. She is the widow of Samir Kassir.
