Christopher "Chris" Gore (1944–1988) was an American screenwriter, playwright, and lyricist. Gore wrote the screenplay for the 1980 musical film Fame, for which he received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.

Hichem Chaabane is an Algerian professional road cyclist. He represented his nation Algeria at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has currently competed for Vélo Club Sovac pro cycling team since 2012.

Antanas Smetona was one of the most important Lithuanian political figures between World War I and World War II. He served as the first President of Lithuania from 4 April 1919 to 19 June 1920. He again served as the last President of the country from 19 December 1926 to 15 June 1940, before its occupation by the Soviet Union. He was also one of the most prominent ideologists of nationalism in Lithuania.

Robert Lee Hatfield was an American singer. With Bill Medley, he was part of the Righteous Brothers. He sang the tenor part for the duo, and sang solo on the group's 1965 recording of "Unchained Melody".

Abdul Hamid al-Bakkoush was Prime Minister of Libya from 25 October 1967 to 4 September 1968. After the proclamation of the Jamahiriya by Gaddafi, he went into exile to Egypt and became one of the leaders of the opposition to the Libyan government. He also held the office of Minister of Justice thrice between January 1964 and September 1968.
