Freundel Jerome Stuart, PC, QC is a Barbadian politician who served as Prime Minister of Barbados and Leader of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) from 23 October 2010 to 21 February 2013; and from 21 February 2013 to 25 May 2018. He succeeded David Thompson, who died in office on 23 October 2010 from pancreatic cancer.

Neil John Pearson is a British actor, known for his work on television. He was nominated for the 1994 BAFTA TV Award for Best Actor for Between the Lines (1992–1994). His other television roles include Drop the Dead Donkey (1990–1998), All the Small Things (2009), Waterloo Road (2014–2015), and In the Club (2014–2016). His film appearances include all three of the Bridget Jones films. He is also an antiquarian book dealer who specialises in the expatriate literary movement of Paris between the World Wars.

Alexander Givental is a Russian-American mathematician working in symplectic topology and singularity theory, as well as their relation to topological string theories. He graduated from Moscow Lyceum number 2 and then the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, and he finally his Ph.D. under the supervision of V. I. Arnold in 1987. He emigrated to the USA in 1990. He provided the first proof of the mirror conjecture for Calabi–Yau manifolds that are complete intersections in toric ambient spaces, in particular for quintic hypersurfaces in P⁴. He is now Professor of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. As an extracurricular activity, he translates Russian poetry into English and publishes books, including his own translation of a textbook in geometry by Andrey Kiselyov and poetry of Marina Tsvetaeva. Givental is a father of two.
