Franjo Kuharić was a Croatian Catholic cardinal, who served as the Archbishop of Zagreb from 1970 until his resignation in 1997. The cardinal was often referred to as the "Rock of Croatia" known for his defense of human rights and his urgings of peace and forgiveness during the independence conflict and the Bosnian War.

Hillevi Maria Engström is a Swedish former politician who served as Minister for Employment from 2010 to 2013 and as Minister for International Development Cooperation from 2013 to 2014. A member of the Moderate Party, she served as a Member of the Swedish Riksdag from 2002 to 2015.

Werner Otto is a retired track cyclist from East Germany.
