Louise Bryant, an American feminist, political activist, and journalist, became best known for her sympathetic coverage of Russia and the Bolsheviks during the Russian Revolution of November 1917. Bryant, who married fellow journalist John Reed in 1916, wrote about Russian leaders such as Katherine Breshkovsky, Maria Spiridonova, Alexander Kerensky, Vladimir Lenin, and Leon Trotsky. Her news stories, distributed by Hearst during and after her trips to Petrograd and Moscow, appeared in newspapers across the United States and Canada in the years immediately following World War I. A collection of articles from her first trip was published in 1918 as Six Red Months in Russia. Over the next year, she defended the revolution in testimony before the Overman Committee, a Senate subcommittee established in September 1918 to investigate foreign influence in the United States. Later in 1919, she undertook a nationwide speaking tour to encourage public support for the Bolsheviks and to denounce armed U.S. intervention in Russia.

Clara Lou Sheridan, known professionally as Ann Sheridan, was an American actress and singer. She worked regularly, first in film and later in television, from 1934 until her death. Frankie Banali was an American rock drummer, most widely known for his work with multi-platinum heavy metal band Quiet Riot. His signature tone and iconic drum intros first became famous on their album "Metal Health" which was the first metal album to hit number one on the Billboard charts and ushered in the 80's metal band era. He had been the band's manager since 1993. He played drums in the heavy metal band W.A.S.P., as well as with Billy Idol. Banali was briefly a touring drummer for Faster Pussycat and Steppenwolf. In the last few months of his life he was also an abstract painter.

Thomas Edward Llamas is an American journalist who was the weekend anchor for World News Tonight on the American Broadcasting Company from 2014-2021. He has won multiple Emmy Awards for his reporting, as well as two Edward R. Murrow awards. He left ABC News for rival NBC News. LLamas' last ABC broadcast was on 31 January 2021.

Darryl Andrew Kile was an American Major League Baseball starting pitcher. He pitched from 1991 to 2002 for three teams. In his first season for the Cardinals, he won 20 games in 2000 as the team reached the postseason for the first time in four years. They advanced to the playoffs in the next two seasons. Kile was known for his sharp, big-breaking curveball. He died at the age of 33 of coronary artery disease in 2002 in Chicago, where he and the Cardinals were staying for a weekend series against the Chicago Cubs. He was the first active major league player to pass away during the regular season since 1979, when the New York Yankees' Thurman Munson died in a plane crash.
