Chang Hsiu-ching is a Taiwanese Hokkien pop singer known for her love songs. She won the 1994 Golden Melody Award for Best Dialect Female Artist.

Chang Sho-wen is a Taiwanese politician. He first won election to the Legislative Yuan in 2004 and was reelected in 2008. Partway through his second term, Chang was removed from office on charges of electoral fraud. He left the Kuomintang in 2015 and joined the People First Party.

Apollo Chen, also known as Chen Shei-saint is a Taiwanese journalist and politician.

Pai Yu-po is a Taiwanese badminton player. She started playing badminton at age 9, and debuted at the 2007 Vietnam International. She joined the Chinese Taipei national badminton team in 2014, and represented her country during the 2014 Incheon Asian Games.

Yu-Chien Tseng is a Taiwanese violinist. In 2012 he was fifth laureate in the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition, where he also won both the Musiq'3 and the Klara-Canvas prizes awarded by the public. In the 15th International Tchaikovsky Competition held in 2015, Tseng won the 2nd prize in the violin contest, in which no first prize was awarded. Tseng has recorded for Fuga Libera and the Chimei Museum.

Cheng Yun-peng (Chinese: 鄭運鵬; pinyin: Zhèng Yùnpéng; born 2 June 1973) is a Taiwanese politician and a member of the Legislative Yuan from Taoyuan 1st district.

Chen Chin-jun is a Taiwanese politician. He was the Secretary-General of the Executive Yuan from 2007 to 2008.

Peng Ming-min is a noted democracy activist, advocate of Taiwan independence, and politician. Arrested for sedition in 1964 for printing a manifesto advocating democracy in his native Taiwan, he escaped to Sweden, before taking a post as a university teacher in the United States. After 22 years in exile he returned to become the Democratic Progressive Party's first presidential candidate in Taiwan's first direct presidential election in 1996.

Jason Wu is a Taiwanese-Canadian artist and fashion designer based in New York City. Born in Taiwan and raised in Vancouver, he studied fashion design at Parsons School of Design, and trained under Narciso Rodriguez before launching his own line.
