Sun Shu-may is a Taiwanese pop singer, actress and TV host who sings predominantly in Taiwanese Hokkien. She has released 17 albums since 1995.

Justin Huang is a Taiwanese politician. Like his father Huang Ching-fong, Justin Huang joined the Kuomintang. He was a member of the National Assembly from 1996 to 2000. Huang was first elected to the Legislative Yuan in 2001. He served two full terms on the Legislative Yuan, and was reelected to a third in 2008. Huang stepped as a legislator in 2009 to run for Taitung County Magistrate. After two terms as county magistrate, Huang left office in 2018.

Way Kuo is the current President and University Distinguished Professor of the City University of Hong Kong. Before joining CityU, he was University Distinguished Professor and Dean of Engineering at the University of Tennessee.

Figaro Tseng is a Taiwanese actor, singer and art painter. He was part of Taiwanese boy band Comic Boyz from 2002 to 2005. They released three albums: Hey Hah!! Comic Boyz (2002); Youth Memoir (2003); Goodbye (2005). Also he acted in Taiwanese dramas and hosted television shows.

Twu Shiing-jer is a Taiwanese politician. He was the Minister of the Department of Health from 2002 to 2003 and later served in the Legislative Yuan from 2008 to 2012. He was the Mayor of Chiayi City from 25 December 2014 to 25 December 2018.

Hsu Kuo-yung is a Taiwanese politician. He was a member of the Legislative Yuan from 2005 to 2008, and again in 2016. Hsu succeeded Yeh Jiunn-rong as Minister of Interior in July 2018.
