Nadezhda Vladimirovna Chizhova is a retired Russian shot putter who won three Olympic medals and four European titles, and set seven new world records. She became the first woman to break both the 20 m (66 ft) and 21 m (69 ft) barriers. She retired after the 1976 Olympics and later worked as athletics coach in Saint Petersburg.

Irina Vladimirovna Starshenbaum is a Russian stage, film and voice actress. For her role in T-34, she won the TEFI award for Best Actress and was a nominee for the Golden Eagle Award for Best Actress.

Evgeny Igorevich Tarelkin is a Russian cosmonaut. He was selected as part of the TsPK-13 group in 2003.

Ravil Faritovich Geniatulin was the Governor of Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia, an office he held from 1 February 1996 to 2 March 2013.

Grigory Anatolyevich Kiriyenko is a Russian fencer, who won two gold Olympic medals in the team sabre competition: at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
