Jolanta Kwaśniewska is a Polish lawyer and charity activist who was First Lady of Poland between 1995 and 2005, as the wife of the then President Aleksander Kwaśniewski.

Stanisław Michał Ernest Denhoff was a Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth aristocrat, Grand Master of the Hunt of Lithuania, Grand Chorąży of the Crown (1704–1721), voivode of Połock (1721–1728), politician and a military commander.

Przemysław Edgar Gosiewski was a Polish politician and a deputy chair of Law and Justice party. In the 1980s he was active in the Solidarity movement. In years 2006-2007 he served as a Deputy Prime Minister of Poland in Jarosław Kaczyński's government.

Richard Wilhelm Heinrich Abegg was a German chemist and pioneer of valence theory. He proposed that the difference of the maximum positive and negative valence of an element tends to be eight. This has come to be known as Abegg's rule. He was a gas balloon enthusiast, which caused his death at the age of 41 when he crashed in his balloon in Silesia.

Daniel Ernst Jablonski was a German theologian and reformer of Czech origin, known for his efforts to bring about a union between Lutheran and Calvinist Protestants.

Eugeniusz Geno Małkowski was a Polish painter. Małkowski was a professor of contemporary art at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, founder of artistic groups and associations throughout Poland, organizer of modern art exhibitions, and popularizer of art. He was known for his speed painting happenings in which he invited people to paint together. In 2005, in Bełchatów, he beat the Guinness World Record for the 24-hour-long-painting performance.

Helga Haase was a speed skater in East Germany. She was born in Danzig and died in East Berlin.

Jarosław Leszek Wałęsa is a Polish politician. He was elected to the Sejm on 25 September 2005, getting 14,709 votes in 25 Gdańsk district as a candidate from the Civic Platform list. He is the son of former Polish President, Lech Wałęsa.
