Theodor Schönemann, also written Schoenemann, was a German mathematician who obtained several important results in number theory concerning the theory of congruences, which can be found in several publications in Crelle's journal, volumes 17 to 40. Notably he obtained Hensel's lemma before Hensel, Scholz's reciprocity law before Scholz, and formulated Eisenstein's criterion before Eisenstein. He also studied, under the form of integer polynomials modulo both a prime number and an irreducible polynomial, what can nowadays be recognized as finite fields.

Tadeusz Chmielewski was a Polish film director, screenwriter and film producer, most notable for being one of the pioneers of popular Polish comedy. During World War II and until 1948, he was a soldier for the National Armed Forces and the Home Army.

Yitzhak HaLevi Herzog, also known as Isaac Herzog or Hertzog, was the first Chief Rabbi of Ireland, his term lasting from 1921 to 1936. From 1936 until his death in 1959, he was Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of the British Mandate of Palestine and of Israel after its independence in 1948.

Hedwig Jagiellon was a granddaughter of Emperor Sigismund and of the Jagiellonian dynasty as daughter of Sigismund I the Old of Poland. She was Electress of Brandenburg by marriage to Joachim II Hector, Elector of Brandenburg.

Arno Paulsen (1900–1969) was a German actor who appeared in around sixty films in the post-Second World War years. He also appeared frequently on stage and was also a voice actor dubbing foreign films for release in Germany. He appeared in a mixture of West German and East German films. He made his film debut in the 1946 rubble film Murderers Among Us.

Vladislaus II the Exile was the high duke of Poland and duke of Silesia from 1138 until his expulsion in 1146. He is the progenitor of the Silesian Piasts.
