Hanna Suchocka is a Polish political figure, lawyer, professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and Chair of the Constitutional Law Department, former First Vice-President and Honorary President of the Venice Commission.

Wojciech Szczęsny Marczewski is a Polish film director and screenwriter. He directed twelve films between 1968 and 2001.

Aleksander Wolszczan (listen) is a Polish astronomer. He is the co-discoverer of the first extrasolar planets and pulsar planets.

Marek Biernacki is a Polish lawyer and politician. Biernacki previously served as the Minister of Justice in the cabinet of Prime Minister Donald Tusk between 2013 and 2014 and the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration under the government of Prime Minister Jerzy Buzek between 1999 and 2001. He was expelled from Civic Platform in January 2018.

Józef Glemp was a Polish Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He was Archbishop of Warsaw from 1981 to 2006, and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1983.

Wyspiański was one of the most outstanding and multifaceted artists of his time in Poland under the foreign partitions. He successfully joined the trends of modernism with themes of the Polish folk tradition and Romantic history. Unofficially, he came to be known as the Fourth Polish Bard.
