Chen Gang was a former Chinese badminton player from Zhejiang. He started his career in badminton at the age of eight. In 1989, Chen entered the Zhejiang team, and was selected to join the national team in 1994. He was a former World Junior Champion in the boys' singles event in 1994, and Asian Champion in the men's singles event in 1998.

Liu Zhongtian is a Chinese-Maltese billionaire businessman, and the founder of China Zhongwang Holdings Limited, the world's second largest industrial aluminum extrusion company.

Allen Y. Chao is a Taiwanese-American businessman who founded Watson Pharmaceuticals and served as chief executive officer from 1984 to 2008 and chairman.

Zhu Jingjing is a Chinese badminton player. Born in Shashi, Hubei, Zhu joined the Guangdong team in 1999, and was selected to join the national team in 2001. She was part of the national junior team that competed at the 2002 Asian Junior Championships, winning the gold medal in the girls' team event, and a bronze medal in the singles event. Zhu then suffered lumbar hernia during exercise, and was sent back to Guangdong. Zhu who played for the Guangdong team, became the runner-up at the 2006 National Championships, and was called back to join the national team. In the international event, she was the champion at the 2007 Vietnam Open.

Wang Jianjun is a Chinese provincial politician, currently serving as the CPC Secretary of Qinghai Province.

Andrew Lim Tan is a Chinese Filipino billionaire with business interests in real estate, liquor and fast food. In 2011, Forbes magazine rated him fourth on the list of the "Philippines 40 richest" with an estimated net worth of $2 billion. As of May 2018, Forbes magazine ranks him as the 10th-wealthiest person in the Philippines, with his net worth of US$2.6 billion.

Andrew Cherng is a Chinese-born American billionaire restaurateur. He is the founder and chairman of Panda Restaurant Group, based in Rosemead, California. He is the co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Panda Express. The Cherngs invest out of their family office, the Cherng Family Trust.
