He was the first president of the Obama Foundation and is President Joe Biden's nominee for United States Deputy Secretary of the Treasury. During the Obama administration, Adeyemo was the Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economics from 2015 to 2016 and Deputy Director of the National Economic Council.

Subedar Major and Honorary Lieutenant Yogendra Singh Yadav PVC is an officer in the Indian Army, who was awarded the highest Indian military honour decoration, the Param Vir Chakra, for his action during the Kargil War.
