Etelka Gerster was a Hungarian soprano. She debuted in Italy in 1876 and sang in London the following year.

František Hossa is a Slovak former ice hockey player and the current head coach of Spartak Moscow of the KHL. Both his sons, Marián and Marcel, are professional ice hockey players. As of 2002, he is also the assistant coach of the Slovakia men's national ice hockey team.

Gusztáv Gratz was a Hungarian politician, who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1921. He was a correspondent member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Gratz published in the Huszadik Század and the Társadalomtudományi Társaság newspapers. He was a representative in the National Assembly from 1906. He also served as managing director of the National Association of Manufacturers (GYOSZ). In 1917 he was appointed Minister of Finance in Móric Esterházy's cabinet. He took part in the peace negotiations' economical parts during the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk and Treaty of Bucharest.

Maroš Kováč is a Slovak former road bicycle racer, who competed professionally between 2001 and 2017 for the De Nardi–Pasta Montegrappa and Dukla Banská Bystrica teams.

Géza Herczegh was a Hungarian judge and academic. In 1990, Herczegh was appointed to the Constitutional Court of Hungary. From 1993 to 2003, he was unanimously elected by the United Nations to one of the International Court of Justice, succeeding Manfred Lachs. He filled the remaining year of Lachs' nine year term and was re-elected to a full term in 1994. In 2003, he was succeeded by Peter Tomka. His daughter, Judge Anita Herczegh, is married to János Áder, former President of Hungary. His successor at the ICJ, Tomka, described him as "a dedicated and open-minded judge interested in finding areas of consensus."

Count Károly Andrássy de Csíkszentkirály és Krasznahorkai was a Hungarian politician, who served as emissary to Gömör és Kis-Hont County in the Diets of 1839 and 1844.
