Jørgen Leth is a Danish poet and film director who is considered a leading figure in experimental documentary film making. Most notable are his documentary A Sunday in Hell (1977) and his surrealistic short film The Perfect Human (1967). He is also a sports commentator for Danish television and is represented by the film production company Sunset Productions.

Henning Enoksen was a Danish football player, who most prominently won a silver medal with the Denmark national football team at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He played a total of 54 national team games and scored 29 goals from 1958 to 1966, and also played for the Denmark national under-21 football team. Among other clubs, he played for Vejle Boldklub and AGF Aarhus in Denmark.

Eske Brun was a high civil servant in Greenland and in relation to Greenland from 1932 till 1964.

Bjarne Henning-Jensen was a Danish film director and screenwriter. He directed 21 films between 1941 and 1974. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and died in Denmark. He was married to Astrid Henning-Jensen.

Johannes Poulsen was a Danish actor and director. He debuted with the Dagmar Theatre in 1901. In 1909 he joined the Royal Theatre as an actor, and from 1917 was also a stage director. Memorable roles included Peer Gynt, Shylock, Henry VIII and the fool in Twelfth Night. Poulsen debuted on film in 1910 with Regia Art Films, and later starred in four films for Nordisk Film. He wrote the book Gennem de fagre riger which was published in 1916.

Turið Sigurðardóttir is a Faroese educator, writer and translator, specializing in the history of Faroese literature. She lives in Tórshavn and teaches at the University of the Faroe Islands.

Nils Malmros, a Danish film director and screenwriter, is considered a leading auteur of realism in Danish cinema. Malmros is noted for his detailed focus on the common growing pains of adolescence and the loss of innocence, which he draws from his childhood experiences growing up in Århus, Denmark. His most notable films form a trilogy about schoolchildren in 1950s Århus: Lars-Ole 5c, Boys and Tree of Knowledge. The latter film, 1981's Tree of Knowledge, is one of ten films listed in Denmark's cultural canon by the Danish Ministry of Culture.
