She is also a two-time medalist at the European Judo Championships and a bronze medalist at the 2017 World Judo Championships and the 2019 European Games.

Daniel Xuereb is a former football striker from France, who earned eight international caps for the French national team during the 1980s. A player of RC Lens (1981–1986), he was a member of the French team in the 1986 FIFA World Cup, after having won the gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, scoring in the gold medal game itself.

Maravillas Lamberto was a 14-year-old girl from Larraga, Navarre, who was raped and killed by Falangists, part of the Nationalist faction, during the July 1936 coup d'état which started the Spanish Civil War. The uprising, spearheaded in Navarre by Carlists and General Mola's military forces, was followed by harsh repression against pro-Republican leaders and sympathizers and their families. During this repression Maravillas' father, Vicente Lamberto Martinez was also arrested and summarily executed.
