Szymon Jerzy Ziółkowski is a retired Polish hammer thrower and an Olympic gold medal winner from Sydney 2000. He also won a gold medal at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton with a career best throw of 83.38 metres, and two silvers at the 2005 and 2009 editions in Helsinki and Berlin respectively.

Džemaludin "Džemal" Hadžiabdić, commonly known as Čorba, is a Bosnian professional football manager and former professional footballer who played as a defender.

Thierry Marc Boutsen is a Belgian former racing driver who raced for the Arrows, Benetton, Williams, Ligier and Jordan teams in Formula One. He competed in 164 World Championship Grands Prix, winning three races, achieving 15 podiums and scoring 132 career points. His best finish in the World Drivers' Championship was fourth in 1988 whilst driving for Benetton. He also twice finished second in the 24 Hours of Le Mans sportscar race.

Kara Solmundson is a Canadian badminton player. She played for the Manitoba team and clinched the women's singles national champion in 2002. She represented Canada at the 2000 Summer Olympics and 2002 Commonwealth Games. Solmundson was the bronze medallist at the 1999 Pan American Games in the women's singles event.
