Ri Myong-sun is a North Korean table tennis player. She competed for North Korea at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She went on to compete for North Korea again at the 2016 Summer Olympics ,where she beat Petrissa Solja of Germany in the third round of the women's singles.

Ivo Cassol is a Brazilian politician. He has represented Rondônia in the Federal Senate since 2011. Previously, he was Governor of Rondônia from 2004 to 2010, when he resigned to seek election to the Senate. He is a member of the Progressive Party.

Thomas Slade Gorton III was an American politician and attorney. A member of the Republican Party, he served as a United States Senator from Washington from 1981 to 1987 and again from 1989 until 2001. He held both of the state's U.S. Senate seats in his career and was narrowly defeated for reelection twice, first in 1986 by Brock Adams and again in 2000 by Maria Cantwell following a recount. As of 2021, he was the last Republican U.S. Senator from Washington.

Mitch Seavey is an American dog musher, who won the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race across the U.S. state of Alaska in 2004, 2013 and 2017. At age 57, Seavey is the oldest person to win the Iditarod in 2017. His son, Dallas Seavey, won the 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Iditarod; his 2012 win made him the youngest winner ever.
