Livio Trapè is a former Italian cyclist. At the 1960 Olympics he won a gold medal in the team time trial and a silver medal in the individual road race. After that he turned professional and competed until 1966, albeit with little success.

Michele Enrico Francesco Vincenzo Aloisio Paolo Carafa di Colobrano was an Italian opera composer. He was born in Naples and studied in Paris with Luigi Cherubini. He was Professor of counterpoint at the Paris Conservatoire from 1840 to 1858. One of his notable pupils was Achille Peri.

Ottavio Cogliati was an Italian cyclist who won a gold medal in the team time trial at the 1960 Summer Olympics. After that he turned professional and rode the 1962 and 1963 Tour de France. He retired in 1964, and later worked as a salesman of alcoholic beverages.

Franz Rellich was an Austrian-German mathematician. He made important contributions in mathematical physics, in particular for the foundations of quantum mechanics and for the theory of partial differential equations. The Rellich–Kondrachov theorem is named after him.
