Lando Ferretti was an Italian journalist, politician and sports administrator.

Fra Giovanni da Verona was an Italian Olivetan monk, sculptor, architect, miniature painter and woodworker. He was active between the late 15th and early 16th centuries.

Fortunato Misiano was an Italian film producer. In 1946 he founded the Rome-based Romana Film which continued producing films until 1969. The company specialised in turning out films in popular genres during the post-war boom years of Italian cinema.

Corax was one of the founders of ancient Greek rhetoric. Some scholars contend that both founders are merely legendary personages, others that Corax and Tisias were the same person, described in one fragment as "Tisias, the Crow". And according to Aristotle, Empedocles was the actual founder of rhetoric, but this is also unlikely. It is believed that William Shakespeare derived the name Sycorax from Corax of Syracuse. Corax is said to have lived in Sicily in the 5th century BC, when Thrasybulus, tyrant of Syracuse, was overthrown and a democracy formed.

Adolfo Franci was an Italian screenwriter. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for his work in Shoeshine (1946).

Filippo Decio or Decius was an Italian jurist whose services were courted by European universities and rulers. He was an influential representative of the pre-Humanist scholastic ius commune tradition.
