Jonathan Dolan is an Irish badminton player. As a junior player, he was a champion at the 2012 Bulgarian and Irish Junior International Open badminton competition (U-19). In the senior event, he clinched the men's doubles title at the 2013 Irish Future Series tournament with his partner Sam Magee. Dolan also won the Irish National Badminton Championships in the men's singles and doubles event in 2014 and 2019. He entered the Badminton Europe Centre of Excellence (CoE) program in February 2018.

James Cluskey is a retired Irish professional tennis player, mainly playing doubles. He was born in Dublin, Ireland and attended Belvedere College along with fellow Irish tennis player James McGee. Cluskey was, for some time, the highest ranked Irish doubles player. Cluskey retired from professional tennis in November 2015.

John James 'Sean' Kelly is an Irish former professional road bicycle racer, one of the most successful road cyclists of the 1980s, and one of the finest classics riders of all time. From turning professional in 1977 until his retirement in 1994, he won nine monument classics, and 193 professional races in total. He won Paris–Nice seven years in a row and the first UCI Road World Cup in 1989. He won the 1988 Vuelta a España and had multiple wins in the Giro di Lombardia, Milan–San Remo, Paris–Roubaix and Liège–Bastogne–Liège. Other victories include the Critérium International, Grand Prix des Nations and smaller tours including the Tour de Suisse, Tour of the Basque Country and Volta a Catalunya.

Willie O'Dea is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Limerick City constituency since 2011, and previously from 1982 to 2011 for the Limerick East constituency. He previously served as Minister for Defence from 2004 to 2010, Minister of State for Disability Issues from 2002 to 2004, Minister of State for Education from 1997 to 2002, Minister of State at the Department of Health from 1993 to 1994 and Minister of State at the Department of Justice from 1992 to 1994.

Paddy Burke is an Irish Fine Gael politician who has served as a Senator for the Agricultural Panel since 1993. He previously served as Cathaoirleach of Seanad Éireann from 2011 to 2016 and Leas-Chathaoirleach of Seanad Éireann from 2002 to 2011.

Nora Twomey is an Irish animator, director, screenwriter, producer and voice actress. She is a partner in Cartoon Saloon, alongside Tomm Moore and Paul Young, an animation studio and production company, based in Kilkenny City, Ireland. She is best known for co-directing The Secret of Kells and directing The Breadwinner. Her work on both films earned Academy Award nominations for Best Animated Feature.

Gemma Hussey is an Irish former Fine Gael politician who served as Minister for Social Welfare from 1986 to 1987, Minister for Labour from January 1987 to March 1987, Minister for Education from 1982 to 1986, Leader of Seanad Éireann and Leader of Fine Gael in the Seanad from 1981 to 1982. She served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Wicklow constituency from 1982 to 1989. She also served as a Senator for the National University of Ireland from 1977 to 1982.

Niamh Síle Bhreathnach is a former Irish Labour Party politician who served as Minister for Education from 1993 to 1994 and 1994 to 1997. She served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dún Laoghaire constituency from 1992 to 1997. She was a Senator from June 1997 to July 1997, after being nominated by the Taoiseach.
