Jean Noël Hallé was a French physician born in Paris. He was the son of painter Noël Hallé (1711–1781).

Pierre Cartellier was a French sculptor.

Louis-Antoine Beaunier was a French engineer.

Charles-Jean-François Hénault was a French writer and historian.

René Le Grevès was a French professional road bicycle racer. As an amateur cyclist, he won the silver medal at the 1932 Summer Olympics in the team pursuit. In 1933 Le Grevès became professional, and between 1933 and 1939, he won sixteen stages in the Tour de France.

Alain Levent was a French cinematographer and film director. He worked on 80 films between 1960 and 2007. His 1972 film The Bar at the Crossing was entered into the 22nd Berlin International Film Festival.

René Guissart was a French film director and cinematographer. During the 1920s and 1930s he worked as cinematographer on many British films many of them for British International Pictures. He also worked on MGM's 1925 epic Ben-Hur. From 1931 Guissart began directing and had made twenty eight films by 1939.
