George Gascón is an American attorney who is the District Attorney of Los Angeles County. Gascón previously served as the District Attorney of San Francisco from 2011 to 2019, as an Assistant Chief of Police for the LAPD, and Chief of Police in Mesa, Arizona and San Francisco. Unlike his predecessor in Los Angeles county, Gascón is often considered as a criminal justice reformist.

Yoandy Leal Hidalgo is a Cuban-born Brazilian volleyball player. He was a former member of Cuba men's national volleyball team (2007–2010) and currently is a member of Brazil men's national volleyball team after gained the Brazilian citizenship in June 2015. At club level he plays as a wing-spiker for Lube Civitanova.

Jorge Labarga is a Justice of the Florida Supreme Court, taking office on January 6, 2009. On June 30, 2014, he was sworn in as Florida's 56th Chief Justice and the first Cuban-American to hold the post. He was succeeded on July 1, 2018, by Charles T. Canady.

Ángel Hernández is an umpire in Major League Baseball (MLB). He worked in the National League from 1991 to 1999, and has worked throughout MLB since 2000. In July 2017, Hernández filed a federal lawsuit against MLB, alleging racial discrimination led to him being overlooked for World Series games and crew chief promotions. He has since umpired in the 2017 All-Star Game, 2017 American League Division Series, and 2018 American League Division Series in addition to regular-season work.

Emilio Estefan Gómez is a Cuban American musician and producer. Estefan has won 19 Grammy Awards. He first came to prominence as a member of the Miami Sound Machine. He is the husband of singer Gloria Estefan, father of son Nayib Estefan and daughter Emily Estefan, and the uncle of Spanish-language television personality Lili Estefan.

Emmanuel "Rico" Rodriguez, also known as Rico, Reco or El Reco, was a Cuban-born Jamaican ska and reggae trombonist. He recorded with producers such as Karl Pitterson, Prince Buster, and Lloyd Daley. He was known as one of the first ska musicians. Beginning in the 1960s, he worked with The Members, The Specials, Jools Holland, and Paul Young.
