Tasso Adamopoulos was a French violist of Greek origin. Adamopoulos, who had cancer, died in Paris on 3 January 2021 after contracting COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in France.

Charles Prosper Eugène Schneider, also known as Eugène Schneider II, was a French industrialist, head of Schneider-Creusot and other works in France, politician and inventor. In 1923, he was awarded the John Fritz Medal.

Alphonse Pénaud, was a 19th-century French pioneer of aviation design and engineering. He was the originator of the use of twisted rubber to power model aircraft, and his 1871 model airplane, which he called the Planophore, was the first aerodynamically stable flying model. He went on to design a full-sized aircraft with many advanced features, but was unable to get any support for the project, and eventually committed suicide in 1880, aged 30.

Mila Parély, born Olga Colette Peszynski, was a French actress of Polish ancestry best known for the roles of Félicie, Belle's eldest sister, in Jean Cocteau's La Belle et la Bête (1946), and as Geneviève in La Règle du jeu (1939).
