Francis Bouygues was a French businessman and film producer. He founded the industrial company Bouygues in 1952 and ran it until 1989, when his son Martin Bouygues succeeded him.

Pierre Morad Omidyar is a French-American billionaire entrepreneur, software engineer and philanthropist. He is the founder of eBay where he served as chairman from 1998 to 2015. He became a billionaire at the age of 31 with eBay's 1998 initial public offering (IPO). Omidyar and his wife Pamela are philanthropists who founded Omidyar Network in 2004 in order to expand their efforts beyond non-profits to include for-profits and public policy.

General Denis Favier was, from 2013 to 2016, the General-Director of the French Gendarmerie. Denis Favier was born on 18 May 1959 in Lons-le-Saunier. In 1979 he joined the military academy of Saint-Cyr. In 1992 he was appointed commander of the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group (GIGN). In 1994 he was promoted to chef d'escadron (major). In 1994 he commanded the assault against the terrorists who had taken the passengers of Air France Flight 8969 hostage. Following this incident, he gave interviews in silhouette or facial obscurity, which he still does until today as it was believed that the co-militants of the terrorists his team killed offered a reward for his assassination. In 2007, after various positions in the Gendarmerie, he was again appointed commander of the GIGN, which underwent restructuring. In 2008 he joined the French forces leading the assault on the pirates who had captured the ship Ponant near Somalia. In 2008 he was promoted to a general. In 2013 he was appointed director-general of the Gendarmerie. On 9 January 2015 he led the operation to arrest Chérif and Saïd Kouachi following a hostage situation at a printing company in the town of Dammartin-en-Goële. The Kouachi brothers were suspected of being the perpetrators of the shooting at Paris newspaper Charlie Hebdo on 7 January 2015.

Jérôme Monod was a French business executive and political advisor. He was the chairman of Lyonnaise des eaux, later known as Suez-Lyonnaise, from 1980 to 2000. He was an advisor to President Jacques Chirac. He was a co-founder of the Rally for the Republic and the Union for a Popular Movement, two center-right political parties in France.

Christian Didier came to public attention after 8 June 1993 as the assassin of René Bousquet, a friend of French President François Mitterrand who had served as a senior police official under Vichy France, which administered the southern half of France during the German occupation. Directly after the killing, Didier telephoned a succession of newspaper editors in order to organise an ad hoc press conference. This meant that the police had no difficulty in locating him.
