He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2017 and 2018, having been released in August, playing with the Toronto Argonauts briefly in 2018, signing weeks after being released by the Roughriders before ultimately finding his way to Vancouver to play with the Lions in 2019. He was released by the BC Lions team subsequent to a disappointing 5-13 season under which there were high expectations to succeed in the CFL.
