Leopold Maximilian Joseph Maria Arnulf, Prinz von Bayern was born in Munich, the son of Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria (1821–1912) and his wife Archduchess Augusta of Austria (1825–1864). He was a Field Marshal (Generalfeldmarschall) who commanded German and Austro-Hungarian forces on the Eastern Front in World War I.

Hermann Willibald Fischer was a German mechanical engineer. He was a member of extreme right terror group Organisation Consul (OC) and one of the assassins, who murdered on June 24, 1922 minister of foreign affairs Walther Rathenau.

Chocolat is a Japanese singer from the greater Tokyo area in Japan. Her first single, "Chocolat a la mode", was released in 1997 on Epic Records (Japan). Her younger twin sister Heaco is also a singer. In 1998, Chocolat married the musician Akito Katayose from the band GREAT3 in Maui, Hawaii, which subsequently became her favorite place. In 2000, she moved from Epic Records to Warner Bros. Japan and later that year recorded the duet single "VERANDA" with her husband, credited as Akito Katayose featuring Chocolat. In 2005, she and her husband formed the group Chocolat & Akito.

Wilhelm Bogner Sr. was a German Nordic combined skier who competed in the 1930s. He and his wife, Maria, co-founded a ski apparel company that bore their name.

Major-General John Gaspard Le Marchant was one of the finest British cavalry commanders of his generation; he was also an intellectual soldier who had a great influence on the efficient functioning of the army he served in. He was instrumental in the process which produced the first British military academy and staff college; and he saw active service in the French Revolutionary Wars and the Peninsular War until his death at the Battle of Salamanca.

Heinrich Breloer is a German author and film director. He has mainly worked on docudramas related to modern German history and has received many awards. Breloer's 2005 docudrama Speer und Er was described as a milestone in the understanding of Nazi Germany by the German people.

Phra Phutthaloetla Naphalai, personal name Chim, also styled as Rama II, was the second monarch of Siam under the Chakri dynasty, ruling from 1809 to 1824. In 1809, Itsarasunthon succeeded his father Rama I, the founder of Chakri dynasty, as Loetlanaphalai the King of Siam. His reign was largely peaceful, devoid of major conflicts. His reign was known as the "Golden Age of Rattanakosin Literature" as Loetlanaphalai was patron to a number of poets in his court and the King himself was a renowned poet and artist. The most notable poet in his employ was the illustrious Sunthorn Phu, the author of Phra Aphai Mani.
