Auguste-Alexandre Ducrot was a French general. Ducrot served in the Crimean War, Algeria, the Italian campaign of 1859, and as a division commander in the Franco-Prussian War.

Andrey Alekseyevich Nechayev is a Russian politician, scientist and economist. He is best known for being the first Minister of Economic Development of new Russia, from 1992-1993. Nechayev is one of the authors and active participants in the program of market-oriented economic reforms in Russia.

William Gerald Charles Cadogan, 7th Earl Cadogan, MC, DL was a British peer and professional soldier.

Gyula Zsivótzky was a Hungarian hammer thrower. He won a gold medal at the 1968 Olympics, silvers in 1960 and 1964, and finished fifth in 1972. Zsivótzky set two world record: one in 1965 and the other at the 1968 Olympics. He was twice elected as Hungarian Sportsman of the Year: in 1965, after winning at the Summer Universiade, and in 1968, for his Olympic gold medal.

Hannah Callowhill Penn was an American governor. She the second wife of Pennsylvania founder William Penn; she effectively administered the Province of Pennsylvania for six years after her husband suffered a series of strokes, and then for another eight years after her husband's death. She served as acting proprietor from 1712 until her death in 1726.
