Robin Soans is an actor, and a playwright specialising in verbatim and documentary plays. These plays include Across the Divide (2007); A State Affair (2000) which looked at life on a Bradford estate, produced by Out of Joint theatre company; The Arab Israeli Cookbook ; Talking to Terrorists ; Life After Scandal ; and Crouch, Touch, Pause, Engage. Other plays include Bet Noir ; Sinners and Saints and Will and Testament.

Stephen James Dorrell is a British Liberal Democrat politician. He served as the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for Loughborough between 1979 and 1997 and then for Charnwood from 1997 to 2015.
