Yvonne Choquet-Bruhat is a French mathematician and physicist. She has made seminal contributions to the study of Einstein's general theory of relativity, by showing that the Einstein equations can be put into the form of an initial value problem which is well-posed. In 2015, her breakthrough paper was listed by the journal Classical and Quantum Gravity as one of thirteen 'milestone' results in the study of general relativity, across the hundred years in which it had been studied.

He was called "flying foreign minister" due to his active diplomacy in increasing the role of Japan when he was in office. Fabrice Guy is a former French nordic combined skier who competed during the 1990s. At the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville he won gold in the 15 km individual, then won a bronze in the 4 x 5 km team competition at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. He also has two medals from the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a silver medal in the 3 x 10 km team event in 1991 and a bronze medal in the 15 km individual event in 1997.
