Hillevi Svedberg (1910–1990) was an early Swedish female architect whose work was inspired by Functionalism. She is remembered for introducing showers and bathrooms in working-class housing and for her low-cost collective housing developments with children's care centres. One of her most successful buildings was the Yrkeskvinnornas Kollektivhus or YK-House (1939) in Stockholm's Gärdet district which she designed in collaboration with Albin Stark (1885–1960).

Saint Conrad of Parzham, O.F.M. Cap., was a German Franciscan lay brother. He served for over 40 years in the post of porter of the Capuchin friary in Altötting, through which work he gained a widespread reputation for his wisdom and holiness. He has been declared a saint by the Catholic Church.

Steven Alan Kaufman was an American pop artist, fine artist, sculptor, stained glass artist, filmmaker, photographer and humanitarian. His entry into the world of serious pop art began in his teens when he became an assistant to Andy Warhol at The Factory studio. Nicknamed "SAK" by Warhol, Kaufman eventually executed such pieces as a 144-foot-long canvas which later toured the country.

Stephen "Steve" Calder is a Canadian sailor. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he won a bronze medal in the Soling Class at the 1984 Summer Olympics with Hans Fogh and John Kerr.
