Karl-Heinz Lambertz is a Belgian politician holding a master's degree in law from the University of Louvain (UCLouvain) with an additional specialisation in German law. Lambertz was president of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) from 12 July 2017 until 12 February 2020 after serving a ​2 ¹⁄₂-year term as first vice-president. He is also president of the Parliament of the German-speaking Community of Belgium.

Natacha Atlas is an Egyptian-British singer known for her fusion of Arabic and Western music, particularly hip-hop. She once termed her music "cha'abi moderne". Her music has been influenced by many styles including Maghrebain, hip hop, drum and bass and reggae.

Dirk Verhofstadt is a Belgian social liberal (Rawlsian) theorist and younger brother of former Belgian Prime Minister and former ALDE European Parliament Leader Guy Verhofstadt. He has a keen interest in political philosophy, and his philosophical outlook is influenced by Karl Popper, John Stuart Mill, Cesare Beccaria, Thomas Paine, Amartya Sen and Martha Nussbaum.

Geert Albert Bourgeois is a Belgian politician of the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA), which he founded in 2001, who is currently serving as a Member of the European Parliament since 2019. He previously served as the Minister-President of Flanders from 2014 to 2019. Prior to this, he was a member of the federal Chamber of Representatives for the People's Union from 1995 to 2001, and then for the N-VA from 2001 to 2004.

Willy Demeyer is a Brussels politician. He is the mayor of Liège since 1999 and has served as the Vice-President of the Socialist Party since 6 December 2011. He also served as a deputy in the Chamber of Representatives for the Socialist Party between June 2014 and September 2017.

Stefan Hertmans is a Flemish Belgian writer. He was head of a study centre at University College Ghent and affiliated researcher of the Ghent University. He won the Ferdinand Bordewijk Prijs in 2002 for the novel Als op de eerste dag.

Robert Lelangue is a retired Belgian cyclist who was active between 1958 and 1969. He competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics in the road race and finished in 49th place. Next year he turned professional and won one stage of the Tour de Luxembourg. Later he won a few races, including the Four Days of Dunkirk (1963), six-day race of Montreal (1964) and the Grote Prijs Jef Scherens (1967).
