Leon Askin was an Austrian Jewish actor best known in North America for portraying the character General Burkhalter on the TV situation comedy Hogan's Heroes.

Lukas Ligeti is an Austrian-American composer and percussionist. His work incorporates elements of jazz, contemporary classical and various world musics, especially African traditional and popular music styles.

Joe May was an Austrian film director and film producer and one of the pioneers of German cinema.

Peter Keglevic is an Austrian film director and screenwriter. He has directed 30 films since 1976. His film Bella Donna was screened at the 1983 Cannes Film Festival.

Regine Heitzer is a retired Austrian figure skater. She competed at the 1960 and 1964 Winter Olympics and won a silver medal in the singles event in 1964. Between 1960 and 1965 she also won 11 medals at European and world championships. In 1967 she turned professional and skated for Vienna Ice Revue and Holiday on Ice. She retired in 1971 due to a knee injury and rarely danced since then – in 1979 she skated with Emmerich Danzer to promote the World Championships in Vienna.
