Kimberly M. Foxx is an American politician, currently serving as the State's Attorney for Cook County, Illinois. She manages the nation's second largest prosecutor's office and oversees an office of approximately 800 attorneys and 1,500 employees. In 2016, she won the Democratic nomination for State's Attorney against incumbent Anita Alvarez and went on to win the general election in November. She was re-elected in 2020.
