Gabe Kaplan
Gabriel Weston Kaplan is an American comedian, actor, and professional poker player. He played the eponymous teacher in the 1970s sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter. He later became a professional poker player and a commentator for the series High Stakes Poker on GSN.
Brion James
Brion Howard James was an American character actor. He portrayed Leon Kowalski in Blade Runner, and appeared in Southern Comfort, 48 Hrs., Another 48 Hrs., Silverado, Tango & Cash, Red Heat, The Player, and The Fifth Element. James was frequently cast as an antagonist, appearing more frequently in lower-budget horror and action films and TV shows throughout the 1980s and 1990s. James appeared in more than 100 films before he died of a heart attack at the age of 54.
Henri Joyeux
Henri Joyeux is a French oncologist surgeon, nutrition specialist and writer. After graduating from the University of Montpellier, he became a surgeon in general oncology in 1972, and a professor in digestive surgery and oncology. He worked at the Curie Institute of Paris from 1992 to 1997 and became a member of the New York Academy of Sciences in 1992. He wrote many general-interest books about health and nutrition, some of which sold over 500,000 copies. and were translated in many languages. He became a public figure in 2000, appearing on television and giving talks. He was a member of the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council from 2010 to 2015. His skeptical views on vaccination and on non-traditional families have made him a controversial figure.
Mary Helen Johnston
Mary Helen Johnston, later also Mary Helen McCay, is an American scientist and former astronaut. Working with NASA as an engineer in the 1960s and '70s, Johnston aspired to be an astronaut; she unsuccessfully applied in 1980 before becoming a payload specialist in 1983. Johnston retired from NASA in 1986 without having gone to space. She is a professor at Florida Institute of Technology.

Leo Victor Panitch was a distinguished research professor of political science and a Canada Research Chair in comparative political economy at York University. From 1985 until the 2021 edition, he served as co-editor of the Socialist Register, which describes itself as "an annual survey of movements and ideas from the standpoint of the independent new left". Panitch himself saw the Register as playing a major role in developing Marxism's conceptual framework for advancing a democratic, co-operative and egalitarian socialist alternative to capitalist competition, exploitation, and insecurity.
