Princess Lalla Fatima Zohra was the eldest daughter of Mohammed V of Morocco and his first wife, Lalla Hanila bint Mamoun. On 16 August 1961 she was married at the Dar al-Makhzin in Rabat to her cousin, Prince Moulay Ali Alaoui (1924–1988), ambassador of Morocco to France (1964–1966). She has two sons and one daughter: Sharif Moulay Abdallah, Sharif Moulay Youssef and Princess Lalla Joumala, ambassador of Morocco to the United Kingdom since 2009.

Luis Feito López was a Spanish painter. His work was influenced by cubism and informalism. Feito lived and worked in Madrid until his death from COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Madrid in February 2021. Following his death, two days of national mourning were declared by his local council.

Ralf Gustav Dahrendorf, Baron Dahrendorf, was a German-British sociologist, philosopher, political scientist and liberal politician. A class conflict theorist, Dahrendorf was a leading expert on explaining and analyzing class divisions in modern society. Dahrendorf wrote multiple articles and books, his most notable being Class Conflict in Industrial Society (1959) and Essays in the Theory of Society (1968).

Robert Kinloch Massie III was an American journalist and historian. He devoted much of his career to studying and writing about the House of Romanov, Russia's imperial family from 1613 to 1917. Massie was awarded the 1981 Pulitzer Prize for Biography for Peter the Great: His Life and World. He also received awards for his book Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman (2011).

Saleh Morsi, born in Kafr El-Zayat in 1929, was a popular Egyptian screenwriter and novelist best known for his espionages thrillers. He died of a heart attack in Alexandria, Egypt in August 1996. The number of his books translated into Persian.
