Conel Hugh O'Donel Alexander, known as Hugh Alexander and C. H. O'D. Alexander as a pen name, was an Irish-born British cryptanalyst, chess player, and chess writer. He worked on the German Enigma machine at Bletchley Park during the Second World War, and was later the head of the cryptanalysis division at GCHQ for 25 years. In chess, he was twice British chess champion and earned the title of International Master.

Lidiya Petrovna Sukharevskaya was a Soviet stage actress and playwright renowned for her work with Nikolay Akimov and Andrey Goncharov. Her frequent stage partner was Boris Tenin, her husband. She also appeared in 14 films between 1939 and 1981. Sukharevskaya was named a People's Artist of the USSR in 1990.

Jacques Clemens was a Dutch Catholic priest. He was the parish priest of The Bultia from 1958. Between 2016 and his death on 7 March 2018 at the age of 108 he was thought to be the oldest living priest.
