Kevin McCarthy is an American television director. He is best known as the director of the syndicated game show Jeopardy!, and before that, he served as the show's associate director from the start in 1984 until taking the main director position in 1992, a role in which he held for 26 years until the end of the 2017–18 season, when he announced his retirement on June 26, 2018. He was replaced by Clay Jacobsen. He also directed Jeopardy!'s spin-off programs Rock & Roll Jeopardy! on VH1 and Sports Jeopardy! on Crackle, and co-directed another Merv Griffin-created game show, Click.

Richard Philips, better known by his stage name Richard X, is a British songwriter and music producer. Gaining attention as a pioneer of the bootleg craze, Richard X has earned success as a producer and remixer. He has helmed hit singles for artists including Annie, Kelis, Liberty X, Rachel Stevens and Sugababes. According to an early issue of the now defunct Popworld magazine, Philips' alias comes from a postcard which was sealed with a kiss misinterpreted for the letter X.

Alexander Berner was a Swiss skeleton racer who competed in the late 1920s. He finished fifth in the men's skeleton event at the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz.

Neyyire Neyir, also known by her real name Münire Eyüp Ertuğrul, was a Turkish stage and movie actress as well as an art writer. She is remembered as one of the first ever Muslim movie actresses in Turkey debuting in 1923. She was married to actor and director Muhsin Ertuğrul.
