Arismendy Alcántara is a Dominican professional baseball center fielder and second baseman for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). Alcántara signed as an international free agent with the Chicago Cubs in 2008 as a shortstop. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cubs, Oakland Athletics, and Cincinnati Reds.
