Datuk Mohmed Misbun bin Mohd Sidek is a former Malaysian badminton player. He is the eldest of the famous five Sidek brothers. He is currently the Malaysia national junior badminton team director.

Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer was a German Luftwaffe night-fighter pilot and the highest-scoring night fighter ace in the history of aerial warfare. A flying ace is a military aviator credited with shooting down five or more enemy aircraft during combat. All Schnaufer's 121 victories were claimed during World War II, mostly against British four-engine bombers, for which he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds, Germany's highest military decoration at the time, on 16 October 1944. He was nicknamed "The Spook of St. Trond", from the location of his unit's base in occupied Belgium.

Ida Lupino was an English-American actress, singer, director, and producer. Among her other directed films the best known are Outrage (1950), The Bigamist (1953) and The Trouble with Angels (1966).

Jerzy Szczakiel was a Polish speedway rider. He was one of three Polish nationals to have won the Speedway World Championship, the others being 2010 World champion Tomasz Gollob and the 2019 Speedway Grand Prix winner and 2019 World Champion, Bartosz Zmarzlik.
