Jean Lorrah is a science fiction and fantasy author. She has produced several Star Trek novels, frequently with her writing and business partner Jacqueline Lichtenberg. Her most recent work with Lichtenberg is on the Sime~Gen Universe. Her fantasy series The Savage Empire, from the 1980s, is mostly solo work.
Joyce Smith
Joyce Esther Smith MBE is a British former long-distance runner. She broke the world record in the 3000 metres in 1971 and is a three-time medallist at the International/World Cross Country Championships, including winning in 1972. She went on to twice win the London Marathon, becoming the first British woman in history to run under 2:30 when winning in 1981 with 2:29:57, before further improving the British record to 2:29:43 when winning in 1982. She also competed in the 1500 metres at the 1972 Munich Olympics and finished 11th in the marathon at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, aged 46.

Sami Selçuk, is a Turkish jurist, professor of law at the Bilkent University in Ankara. He is also former First President of Court of Cassation of Turkey. He was graduated from Ankara University, Law School in 1959 then he began to work as public prosecutor. On July 7, 1999, he elected the First President of Court of Cassation of Turkey. He retired this job on June 15, 2002. He knows French and Italian languages.

Peter Kenez is a historian specializing in Russian and Eastern European history and politics. He was born in Hungary and is a Holocaust survivor. He also teaches courses on Soviet cinema and an interdisciplinary course on the Holocaust with literature professor Murray Baumgarten. He has taught at the University of California, Santa Cruz since 1966, where he is currently Professor Emeritus. He received his PhD from Harvard where his advisor was Richard Pipes.
