Takeki Manabe is a Japanese politician who was the 43rd governor of Kagawa Prefecture in Japan, serving three terms from 1998 until 2010. In 2009 he announced he would not contest the 2010 election and was succeeded by Keizō Hamada.

Donald William Wuerl is an American prelate, a Cardinal, of the Catholic Church. He served as Archbishop of Washington, D.C., from 2006 to 2018. He was named Archbishop of Washington by Pope Benedict XVI and made a cardinal by him in 2010.
