Abdurrahim Boynukalın is a Turkish politician and journalist, Justice and Development Party United Kingdom Representative. Between 12 October 2014 and 20 December 2015, he served as the Head of the Youth Branch of the Justice and Development Party. He was also a Member of Parliament for İstanbul's 3rd electoral district between 7 June and 1 November 2015, having been elected at the June 2015 general election. Between 18 December 2015 and 26 April 2018, he attended as the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports.

Dr. Dino Patti Djalal is a former Indonesian Ambassador to the United States. He resigned from his ambassador post in September 2013 to pursue a presidential primary bid. He served as Indonesia's Deputy Foreign Minister between July 2014 and October 2014.

Ali Kurtuluş Gültiken is a former professional football player, manager, and scout. He is a part of the most famous trio of the Turkish football team Beşiktaş history alongside Metin Tekin and Feyyaz Uçar in the early 1990s.

Hiroshi Amano is a Japanese physicist, engineer and inventor specializing in the field of semiconductor technology. For his work he was awarded the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics together with Isamu Akasaki and Shuji Nakamura for "the invention of efficient blue light-emitting diodes which has enabled bright and energy-saving white light sources".

Jordi Tarrés is a Spanish former international motorcycle trials rider. He competed in the FIM Trial World Championships from 1985 to 1997. Tarrés is notable for being a seven-time motorcycle trials world champion. He is the third most successful trials rider in history, after Dougie Lampkin with 12 titles and Toni Bou with 16. In 2010, Tarrés was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements.

Henry Ramón Blanco is a Venezuelan professional baseball coach and former player. He is currently the bullpen coach for the Washington Nationals. He played as a catcher in Major League Baseball from 1997 to 2013, appearing for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, Milwaukee Brewers, Atlanta Braves, Minnesota Twins, Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, New York Mets, Arizona Diamondbacks, Toronto Blue Jays, and Seattle Mariners. He later served as quality assurance coach for the Cubs. Although a light-hitting player, he was regarded as one of the best defensive catchers in Major League Baseball.

Laetitia Nourrissat Toureaux (1907–1937) was a murder victim. She was found dead in a Paris Métro carriage at Porte Dorée on 16 May 1937. This crime was widely discussed at the time, and the interwar period generated multiple speculations, involving the secret services and the violent political group La Cagoule. Toureaux entered an unoccupied metro car at one stop, and was found stabbed to death less than 90 seconds later at the next stop.

Adriane Lenox is an American actress, best known for her performances in Broadway theatre. Her performance in the play Doubt: A Parable garnered her the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 2005. She received another Tony Award nomination for After Midnight in 2014.
