Farhad Safinia is an Iranian-American screenwriter, film/TV producer and director, best known for Apocalypto, Boss and The Professor and the Madman. He was credited under the pseudonym P. B. Shemran in the latter.

Martina Jäschke is a German diver and Olympic champion. She competed at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, where she received a gold medal in the 10 metre platform event.

Francisco Javier Rupérez Rubio, Born he is a Spanish politician, diplomat and writer, was born in Madrid on 24 April 1941. He holds degrees in law (1962) and journalism (1975) from the Complutense University of Madrid. Since 2006 he has held the rank of full Ambassador within the Spanish Diplomatic Service, which he joined in 1967.

Erick van Egeraat is a Dutch architect and author. He heads the architectural practice based in Rotterdam with offices in Moscow, Budapest and Prague. He is best known for his projects of ING Group Headquarters in Budapest, Drents Museum in Assen, The Rock tower in Amsterdam, Incineration line in Roskilde, Main building and Auditorium in Leipzig University and the Corporate University of Sberbank in Moscow. He is the winner of RIBA Award 2007, Best Building Award 2011&2012 and European Property Award 2013.

Jan Andrzej Paweł Kaczmarek is a Polish composer. He has written scores for more than 70 feature films and documentaries, including Finding Neverland (2004), for which score he won an Oscar and a National Board of Review Award. Other notable scores were for Hachi: A Dog's Tale, Unfaithful, Evening, The Visitor, and Washington Square.
